Thera-Pits Dedication Page To Sarge: The original pit-bull breed ambassador

My name is Chris Hughes and I founded the Thera-Pits program because of the amazing work done by Sarge Wolf-Stringer.

Sarge was rescued after 14 years with an animal abuser.  He was saved by an amazing family in 2009 and lived with his 5 brothers and sisters. In 2009 he was certified through  ”Pals for Life” to visit nursing homes, rehab centers and libraries. He loved to visit schools and educate children about animal issues and has been featured on TV, in newspapers and magazines.

Sarge recently moved over the Rainbow Bridge but he single handedly has motivated thousands of dogs to become Therapy Dogs and started a movement educating Children about animal issues. What a wonder thing to do I’m so glad to see people that have taken these throw away pits worked with them to over come the horrible things they went through then to go on and work to help the kids…thank God for people like you if there were more people in this world like you what a wonderful world it would be…thank you for all you do for the pit bull breed and all those kids I truly enjoy all your pictures and stories.
